Of her show, Joanne Bohannon says:

“My current body of work came about when an owl set up shop outside my bedroom window…obviously a city dweller. It has been so surprising to me that such an icon of the health of the earth has managed to survive amongst all of this asphalt and noise. Its tenacity and perseverance gives me hope for the future and it is all evident right here in my backyard. This amazing bird has been living with me for well over 10 years. I am grateful.”

It is Fitting that this show occurs with Board to be Wild and both will be going on when our annual Trashion Show occurs in early May, exhibiting The Confluence’s commitment to both the arts and conservation.
