Untamed
Cheryl Quintana in the Community Gallery
November 18 - January 10
Opening Reception: Saturday, November 22, 5 - 7 p.m.
Cheryl Quintana
In Untamed, visitors explore Cheryl Quintana’s unearthed stoneware creations that are inspired by the diverse wildlife inhabiting the Methow Valley.
Much like the term "untamed," these sculptures which are conjured from stoneware clay are infused with vivid imagery and intense emotion. Each piece aims to inspire feelings of wildness, freedom, and strength.
Quintana invites each observer to immerse themselves in the "untamed,” investigate the attributes of each sculpture, and reflect on how one might incorporate elements of the "untamed" into their lives.
Sometimes the most powerful voice
belongs to those who have none.
