The Confluence: Art in Twisp is delighted to host the Wednesday Watercolor Group’s work in the Community Gallery, July 15 through August 16, with an opening reception on July 19 from 5-7PM. On most Wednesdays, a group of local women with differing backgrounds and skills gather for a few hours in the morning to create with paint, paper and canvas. For nearly three decades, the collaboration has grown from a Confluence Gallery class taught by Patty Yates to an open community of friends with common interests in art and conversation. These gatherings have created enduring friendships, including some that have lasted since the very beginning.
The collection of works shared in the Community Gallery show represent the depth and breadth of skills, sensibilities, and passion that stems from this group of stalwart friends and talented artists.
