WAYYY OUT HERE

LGBTQIA+ Art Show

Methow Pride and Fireweed Printshop are proud to present WAYYY OUT HERE, a queer-led art exhibition opening June 3 at The Confluence: Art in Twisp. This showcase highlights the vibrant work of LGBTQIA+ artists of all ages, with interactive installations, original artwork, and heartfelt community contributions.
Born from the newly launched Methow Pride Center at Fireweed Print Shop, WAYYY OUT HERE is more than an art show—it’s a sanctuary of expression, reflection, and connection. From hand-painted blown-glass butterflies donated by Lucid Glassworks to a shattered mirror wall inviting viewer participation, this exhibit invites everyone—especially allies—to witness, support, and celebrate the diverse and beautiful spectrum of queer existence.
“This exhibition is an invitation to participate,” says curator Laura Gunnip. “Whether you’re a queer artist, writer, community member—or a treasured ally—there is space for you here.”
Together, let’s celebrate queer joy, resilience, and creativity—WAYYY OUT HERE.
