Artist Onboarding

First of all, Congratulations, and thank you for participating in our open call shows. Each exhibit takes a village to put on and your efforts as showing artists are both integral and appreciated. Before the the art goes up and the reception kicks off there are a few things to do. Please make sure you have read and fully understand the information on this page.

In order for the exhibit to go up smoothly, we have some necessary administrative tasks. Our acceptance form below is where most of this happens. It is where artists submit their information for the bio and statement binder we have out for every show, and where artists can share their information for promotion online and elsewhere. Finally it functions as a checklist for you the artist to make sure all pertinent information is with us.

Hanging your work

The Confluence requires proper hanging hardware for your work to be installed. The

Shipping

The Confluence is a non-profit gallery. All shipping costs to and from the gallery of unsold works are each artist’s responsibility. Due to our rural location we suggest artists use the United States Postal Service as they are the mort reliable local option. If that is not feasible we prefer artists to use UPS and only use FEDEX as a fallback.

Work will be available for pick up 10 AM – 2pm on the Sunday and Monday following the closing date of each show. Please contact The Confluence at creative@confluencegallery.org if you need to make other arrangements beyond those dates and times. All work must be picked up within one month of the exhibit closing unless further arrangements are made.
